A Venus Viva™ treatment is a uniform, safe and relatively pain free treatments with little or no downtime. Both the face and body can benefit from this treatment. Radiofrequency works by precisely heating the dermis, which creates a microscopic injury in the skin, the bodies natural healing response is to create more collagen which means it can be used to treat enlarged pores, fine lines, deep wrinkles, rosacea, pigmentation, uneven skin texture, and scars.
How can the feeling of heat after a Venus Viva™ treatment be reduced?
Cool compresses make the treatment very comfortable. Immediately after your treatment you will spend 20 minutes under the Omni Heal Infrared/ Red heal light which will significantly reduce any feeling of facial heat.
Then a soothing and cool Hyaluronic Serum Mask will be applied for another 15 minutes. By the time you leave your treatment area will feel quite normal.
What can I put on my skin after a Venus Viva™ treatment?
For 24 hours after your Venus Viva™ Skin Resurfacing treatment it is important not to apply anything to your skin. After the 24 hour period has passed you may resume your usual routine but no Vitamin A or Retinol serums/creams should be used for the following 10 days. In addition hot baths or showers, massages, rigorous exercise, and any activity requiring direct skin contact or causing excessive perspiration in the treatment area should be avoided for two days post-procedure.
How will my Skin feel the following day after a Venus Viva™ treatment?
Your skin may be a little pink for the follow 2 days. This is totally normal and can be covered by makeup. By day 3 your skin will feel quite dry which means the skin is healing. By day 7 the new skin will have come through and your skin will feel soft and hydrated with a youthful glow.
How many Venus Viva™ treatments are required?
You will see immediate results 7 days after your first treatment and your skin will continue to improve.
